Roman is a big cuddle and love bug. He isn’t like your normal typical hyperactive husky. Roman is very sweet, mellow, playful, and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He loves to go straight up to people so he can get love and attention. He has been around kids his whole life. He is amazing with kids of all ages and dogs of any size. He’s the type of dog you don’t have to stress about leaving. I trust to leave Roman at home without being in a kennel. He doesn’t destroy things or have separation anxiety or go potty in the house. Romans favorite thing to do is go swimming in the river. Every summer I float in an inner tube and he swims to me to relax on the tube. Whenever I am upset or having a bad day Roman does his best to cheer me up and make me happy. He is such an amazing father to his puppies. He protects his pups and plays very gentle with them so he doesn’t hurt them.
On January 16, 2017, Roman had escaped from the fenced yard. I searched for hours for him. The railroad people helped me search for him. The people on the train radioed to the workers that they had hit a dog. Come to find out it was my baby Roman that was hit by a train. I knew deep down in my heart when the train went by something was wrong. My worst fear had come true. My world shattered and fell to pieces. I had lost my baby and the first husky that I have ever bought. For him only being almost 3 years old when he died, he was already very rare. He was like one of those dogs that you have owned for many many years and was so perfect and the best dog. I miss Roman with all my heart. I have a hard time waking up every morning seeing that he isn't there. I am very thankful that he has left a son that looks exactly like him and acts like him. Sadly he will never be my Roman, but I am very thankful to have his son in my life. Roman I will always miss you I love you and I'm so sorry that you had to die at such a young age.
RIP Roman February 12, 2014 - January 16, 2017
